"Driving for Surviving" Melanoma Golf Tournament The Foundation will not be holding a golf tournament and silent auction in 2011, but we still welcome your donations to help us "touch a life." The foundation enjoyed another successful year at the 15th annual Washington DC Health and Fitness Expo. Once again we partnered with Dr. Roberta Palestine's Dermatology practice
on January 12-13, 2008. More than 80,000 people attended this free event and volunteers for the foundation and the dermatologist's office passed out over 17,000 sunscreen packets and plenty of literature about skin cancer.

A special thanks goes to Edge Systems in CA who provided us with the UltraCam UV camera. With this device we were able to provide facial screenings to more than 500 people. The UltraCam allows an individual to see their face under an ultraviolet light and helps to point out exisitng sun damage. The line at our booth was constant which allowed us an opportunity to speak withe attendees and touch even more lives.

The foundation is looking forward to participating in this fine event again in 2009.
