Welcome to the home page for The Ashley Fister Cole Foundation! We hope you will find this site to be a useful resource in learning more about our Foundation and its many worthwhile activities.
The Foundation was started on Oct. 8, 2002 in memory of Ashley Fister Cole, who passed away that day as a result of melanoma. Ashley was a twenty-eight year old kindergarten teacher and three-year cancer survivor. She was beloved as a wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
The mission of the Foundation is to "touch a life" through charitable giving of time, energy and resources in support of melanoma research, education and healing.
